Midway through awards season and we’ve already seen a little bit of everything. And yet the most notable awards show fashions were seen at this year’s Golden Globes. In addition to many of the women (and some men) wearing black in a collective show of support for this year’s “Time’s Up Movement,” each star in attendance still managed to stand out from one another due in large part to their showstopping fashion jewelry and accessories. Complementing their black ball gowns, the women of TV and film adorned themselves in an endless flurry of dazzling white diamond and glittering gemstone jewelry fit for royalty.
More often than not, the women on the runway opted for bigger-than-big diamond earrings to highlight their faces and larger-than-life diamond necklaces to complement the daring necklines of their attire.
Below, we look at a few of our favorite diamond earring looks and similar designer pieces we’ve found that capture the overall essence of their looks.
Wowing viewers for her work on-screen and off, Jessica Chastain continues to be one of PJD’s forever-fashion-favorites (see previous film fashions and redheads spotlight). At this year’s Golden Globes, she accompanied her vibrant ginger hair with a pair of striking floral-inspired diamond earrings.
The red carpet fashion-forward design is beautifully-replicated in our chosen diamond earrings from contemporary designer KC Designs. Instantly recognizable for their own cosmic designs, affordable favorites Shy Creation extend their own version of the premiere look. Last, ending with a bit of color to our Golden Globes picks, this year’s sweetheart Saoirse Ronan highlighted her pretty face with bright blue gemstone and diamond earrings. As one of the few on the red carpet to adorn herself in colored jewelry, we took advantage and picked two earrings featuring bold blues.
